The company will compete for the $250,000 grand prize at the BioTools Innovator Capstone in San Diego on October 14.

SAN DIEGO — September 24, 2026 — eGlint, a biotechnology company developing rapid, multiplex protein analysis, has been named one of four finalists in BioTools Innovator’s 2026 Grand Prize Competition. The finalists emerged from a 30-company accelerator cohort selected from more than 500 applicants worldwide.

The recognition comes as eGlint advances ProteoMix™, its first planned commercial product: research-use-only kits designed to deliver 10-minute, multiplex protein measurements on existing qPCR instruments. Built on the company’s ProteoNex™ biosensor platform, ProteoMix aims to simplify protein analysis for biopharma researchers without requiring additional capital equipment.

“Being named a finalist is a meaningful recognition of our team’s work,” said Robert Georgantas, PhD, CEO of eGlint. “Throughout the program, we’ve benefited from candid feedback, practical commercial guidance, and the generosity of experienced industry leaders and fellow founders. Those conversations have helped us sharpen our focus as we work toward bringing ProteoMix to market.”

BioTools Innovator provides mentorship, strategic guidance, and access to industry partners, investors, and advisors. eGlint also participates in the VANGUARD accelerator track, a joint initiative between BioTools Innovator and BARDA supporting technologies with potential applications in public health preparedness.

eGlint thanks the program’s organizers, mentors, reviewers, and partners for their support, and congratulates its fellow finalists and the entire 2026 cohort.

The four finalists will present their technologies and answer questions from industry experts at the BioTools Innovator Capstone on October 14 at UC San Diego Park & Market. A live audience vote will determine the winner of the $250,000 grand prize.
